LPE guest presents at IMechE, Additive Manufacturing & 3D Printing Seminar.

LPE would like to once again thank Engineers Ireland for the opportunity to present on the current Additive Manufacturing technologies arena at the latest IMechE seminar which took place on the 3rd of February 2015.

The event proved a fantastic opportunity to share our experiences within the industry and gain further insight from fellow guest speakers including Dr. Shane Keaveney (ROI IMechE Young Members Chairman) , Dr Benjamin Wood (WMG Technologies at the University of Warwick) and Prof. Debra Laefer (Head of Urban Modelling School of Civil, Structural & Environmental Engineering at UCD). Topics covered included low cost and open source printers, the current technology arena, and 3D printing case studies along with some possible future developments within the industry.
